Currently, 22 states in the US require some type of certification or licensure for Opticians. The states below in blue have regulations in place; hover over the state and click on the URL to learn more.  All states in grey do not have any requirements currently.  States with BLUE state abbreviations are members of UOA; click on that state to visit their website.
